Parents visa got approved for 6 months in mumbai consulate

My Parents visa got approved today. First of all many thanks to this forum . Their appointment was at 9.30 but were called at 2.30. My dad said they call randomly once they take u inside the office. They looked very carefully at sponsor's document and was not returned back to my parents.

Q Why do u want to go to USA?
A tourism

Q for how long?
A 1 month ( i purposely told my dad to ask for one month only because anyway stay get decided at POE)

Q Why do u want to go for such a short period?
A. Because i have business here and need to come back also We have a unmarried son and need look bride for him.

Q Are u planning to work there?
A no

Q Will u come back alone and is your wife planning to stay there?
A No we both want to go together and come together in one month.

Be careful, if your father stated to the consular officer that he wanted to stay 1 month. and its found out at the POE that he wanted to stay longer at the time of his application. he could be refused for filing a fraudulent visa application and be returned home with a 5 year bar.

Also it seems he has a 6 month visa,thats for the time he can enter the U.S. not for his length of stay.if he also has a 1 stamped on the visa for entries allowed. he is allowed only once entry and basically in trial mode to see if he does what he says.

They will look at his length of stay closely before issuing him a multiple entry visa for the next visits.
