drop-box / birth certificate

Hi,
I have two questions -

1.
My parents qualify for drop-box. However which one is more safe and fast. drop-box or personal interview?
2.
For Delhi Embassy, do they ask for original birth cerificate or a copy will work?

Drop box is safe. Drop box is not like post box where you drop your documents. It is really a office in fact, run by TT Services in New Delhi.
