travel outside u.s after interview

Hi,
I plan to travel outside u.s to india..after my citizenship interview. Through citisenship I have a change of name too. can i travvel outside u.s after the interview,how long does it take for them to notify me of the oath date and when informed of the oath date , can i postpone it since i would be travelling to india?.. any info would be very helpful
p.s - I live in NJ

The change of name that you mentioned, did you have to go through a long process, if so what is it?
