I came to US in march 2001, then I had to go back to my native country in Oct 2001 to finish studies. Went back to US in May 2003 with a re-entry permit.

Now I will be applying for US Citizenship in March 2009, will i need that re-entry permit doc to show them (as a supporting doc) even though I have counted 5 years from 2003?

I have lost my re-entry doc.
What can I give them as a supporting doc in replace of the re-entry permit doc?

Thanks

Do you have immigration stamps in your passport that can show when you have entered and exited the other country?

no need re-entry permits, they won't ask you. you need only date you left and US entered date, it will be aviable in your passport for filling application.

supporting docs.. GC and ur country passport.

But I also lost my old passport =(

Some people said they don,t need that because they have a system showing when you leave and enter the US. I suppose the system will also tell if you got a re-entry permit issued.
