How early can i sponsor

HI friends,
How are you all doing? I will begin my residency training in Internal Medicine from June 2009 in USA. I will be getting J1 visa. I wish to sponsor my parents a tourist visa to visit USA after June 2009. Please let me know how early can i Sponsor my parents a visa. 1 month or 3 or 6 months? your info will be very helpful.

There is no such limit. And if they can show their own funds and property in home country that will be even better. (They don't have to have a sponsor)
