Applying for I-485, no birth certificate

Hi all,
I don't have birth certificate and have no chance of getting it either. Can I get a notarized document stating my date of birth and use it instead?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

In addition to affidavit, you also need non-availability certificate from the same place you would get birth certificate.
