I passed the US test on 11/19/2008 and N-14 had been issued due to finger print problem. They requested the police clearance from the past 5 years whatever cities I have been residing. I did submit the information and until now three months have been elapsed but nothing to be heard. I called customer service desk and explained them my case but they took information my case and said nothing about that. The only thing they told me that the information will be sent to USCIS for request service. Do you guys have any ideas or any advices on this matter. I do appreciate for your kind assistance or information. Thanks

We have the same situation. I went for my interview on February 19,2009 but was asked for a police clearance from a city I lived in- I did not bring this the interview because I was in this city for only 1 month and they are counting 5 years back from when I submitted the N400 application, not when I received the notice in the mail in January 2009. I submitted the police clearance in March 10, 2009 (before the 30 days deadline) but have not heard from them...
