Hi. Im a US Resident, studying in New York. Im planning to study abroad in Spain. Im leaving the US on January 28th of 2009 and returning on August 7 of 2009. In order to be able to travel to Spain I need to get the Visa, and in the Spanish Embassy they ask me for a Medical and Accident Insurance with international coverage for a minimum of 30,000 euros or the equivalent in Dollars. Can you tell me how much would this cost me if Im 22 years old? Also, if I take the insurance with you, but if by some reason my trip is cancel definitively do I get a 100% refund?

Thank you for your interest in purchasing health insurance for your stay in Spain.

Please look at Patriot America at http://www.insubuy.com/schengen-visa-insurance.jsp
I think the dismemberment portion of the enhanced AD&D rider might be adequate for their permanent disability requirement. The loss of a hand/eye or other members would be considered permanent, and they would get a lump sum amount which is what the requirement asks for. (An ongoing disability income benefit would be a different issue, and we would not be able to meet a requirement like that.)
