Sevis ID for j2 dependant

When I was filling forms online for J1 visa , By mistake I filled up my (Principal applicant) sevis ID in my wife's (J2 dependant) form. I have already submitted the form online.Now is there any way I can correct this. Will there be any problem? What am I suppose to do with this.

If I were you I would call them up and tell them and ask them what should be done....it's always better to let them know, then wait and then either get in trouble, or just have the whole process extended due to your err.

Dear Sharpy... thanks for the advice... but unfortunately today is saturday and tmrw is sunday and the customer care center will open on Monday.
Will callup and ask then! meantime I was wondering if anyone has a better idea!

I know, I know. I only wrote it because maybe that will be the "fastest" way to get some info even though it can only be done on Monday. I figured this site is not "too active" and plus, your scenario is a pretty rare one. It's not one of those "average" questions, so it is quiet unlikely that you'll "bump" into someone here who has gone through the same situation. I wish you the best of luck!
