Indian VISA application - New US Citizen - Passport Requirements

Hi there,

I need your help to clarify things for me....

I am a new US Citizen (originally a Indian Citizen by birth) and have a new US passport, while the old Indian passport is still with me.

I am planning to apply for an Indian VISA and was wondering if it is as simple as applying for VISA with just my new US Passport or would they need the old Indian passport as well?

I would appreciate your help in providing me with the clarifications.

Applying for an Indian Visa is almost as easy as applying for a US passport.

Please visit the website of the Indian Consulate closest to where you live and should be able to find easy instructions to get an Indian tourist visa.
