I-485: How long in CSC?

How long does it currently take for the I-485 process to be completed since filing at the CSC?

starting employment with that sponsoring company. Are
you switching to AOS from CP. We are still worried whether
we can go for CP interview without starting employment
with company sponsoring CP.

That is a good question. All INS service centers seem to be inundated with applications after the April 30 deadline for filing under sec 245i. It is not very clear now as to what the approximate processing time will be. Also with EB3 becoming current from 1st July INS will receive that many more applications for AOS. It would be a good idea to start tracking applications filed after 30th April. I have filed for AOS on 7th May and still have not received my receipt notice / application number. Info from anybody who has applied after 1st May and got receipt notices / call for finger printing will be highly appreciated.

Did you receive your receipt notice from INS? I had applied for I-485 + EAD + AP on May 16th (Fed Ex information), and its Aug 30th today and I have not yet received the receipt notice.

AP: expected in 60-87 days
