Can anybody help me with these questions I have

1. My I-140 has been approved from NSC. I live in MO. My husband got his H1B in May,01 and he currently lives in NY. Since I am the primary applicant, NSC will still be my processing center, right ? I have been living in MO for almost 3 years now.

2. Can my husband, get his medical examination done from an INS certified civil surgeon in NY and then forward the paperwork to my lawyer ?

3. My husband was in Malaysia for a period of 3 months in the year 2000. Prior to his visit to Malaysia, he was in the United States for 8 months. Then he was back in the US from Malaysia.
Does he have to mention this in his biographic information form. He was there on a tourist visa. Also does he have to produce a police certificate ?

4. Currently he is on bench and not paid since he got his HIB (ie. May 01)? Will this have any impact on the greencard processing, since I am not sure how he would be filing his taxes for this year.

I would greatly appreciate your answers.

Thanks
Vasavi
