Need Help about Marriage Visa

Hi all I need some information on how to go about in applying for a Marriage Visa.....I want to marry my girlfriend who is a British Citizen......I am currently in the UK on Post Study Work Visa.....I already have Entry Clearance....My current visa has Residence Permit written over it....I have 8 months left of my Post Study Work visa.....I know the first thing I have to do is get a Certificate Of Approval from the Home Office but I am not sure about the eligibility criteria involved......I haven't got a clue to what to do next.......

Q1. My first question is can someone please guide me through the steps involved in getting a Marriage Visa.

Q2. And my second question is what are the eligibility criteria for getting a Certificate of Approval.
