I obtained my green card through assylum and now I am eligible for U.S. citizenship. Is it better to go through a attorney or do it by myself. I was wondering, will I encouter any issues with the immigration officer, since I was a assylee before. All my records are clean. Please advice.

If you have been living in this country legally without any issues, you can complete the process yourselves.
