oci for child

HI,
My daughter and i got british citizenship, and we are planning to goto india in december on visiting visa and iam planning to leave my daughter in india for 6months-1year( i will be back in one month) with my parents.But before we going from here i want to apply OCI for both of us, and i am aware about the duration to get the OCI.my question is

1.should my daughter be physically present in uk when indian high commission ready to provide OCI certificate?



2. Is it leagally ok to go to india on a 6 months visiting visa and extending the stay if she get an OCI?
please give me a replay as soon as possible, because i am totally confused now

1. Yes. That is because you need to send her passport for stamping.
2. Visa and OCI are two different matters. One is not related to other. Therefore, your question is not really applicable.
