I got married earlier this month (December 2004) in India and my wife is there now. I am currently on 485 (140 got cleared in Oct. 2003) with second EAD and AP. I changed my employers using EAD and so, am no longer on H1B.
One method of bringing wife is I-824 (Follow to Join) but that is dependant on my 485 being approved, which can take a long time (Notice Date of 485 is June 2003 and I am in EB2 category, Nebraska Processing Center).
Another method I am thinking about: Is it possible for my wife to have her medical tests done in India and them I apply for 485, EAD and AP here in USA for her, and she come here on AP for fingerprinting??
Please provide your advice/share your experiences. Thanks!!!
