Hello
The lawyer of my company says that the E2 visa is for the company itself (not for a person but for the firm). Once the company got its E2 visa approved, then the company can hire the person they want. So for example, i am not american but belong the lawyer, if my company has an E2 visa, then i can work for my company without having a visa for myself. So i would be able to work in the us even if i dont have a visa just because my company has one.
It sounds very very weird to me. I dont really know this visa but i think that every alien needs a work visa, so do i.
Can someone confirm or reject what s the lawyer says? I really dont think what he is saying it s true but maybe i am wrong.
