Receive Notice from NSC

My AOS application was sent to NSC on 5/15/01 (as per my attorney), usually it take 4-5 weeks to get the receive notice by mail. I haven't got any letter yet, my Attorney told me that NSC has frozen the new mails since 5/11/01. Does anybody else experience the same.

If someone has applied on/after 5/15/01 and got the letter, please let me know.

My application was sent on May 29th to NSC, and still waiting for receipt notice.

I talked to my Attorney, according to her the 180 day period starts when the INS receives the letter. So It does not matter if they open the mail in August. Our countdown is already begun.

I think it is atleast some hope for us.
