How long does it take to get a file No?

We have applied in the skilled Worker category in Oct 04. and until now we have not heard anything from them?

BAsically How long does it take to get a file no.?

What is teh total wait time to get the final Canada PR.?

Is there a way that we can get this process little faster?

Please advice.

I cant answer your question as I dont know where you filed your case, you can see current processing times on the following link

However there is no way to fast track your application, However you should have at least recieved reciept of file by now, I would advise that you write to the high commission where you filed include your full name, date of birth and country of citizenship and ask if they recieved file.
