Hi, gurus,

I had an impression that the total GC processing time varies dramaticly in the past for EB1, EB2 and EB3 is because INS set different PD for those categories. Now the PD for all categories has become current, does that mean there's "virtually" no priority among these 3 categories ( except that LC could be waived for EB1 )? If an EB1 and an EB3 applicants file I-485 at the same tiem, can they expect to get their I-485 approved at the same time?

Thanks

Traditionally, EB-1's and EB2's were said to be given priority over EB-3 petitions during the 485 stage, but I've been having them come back from the CSC at relatively the same time, lately.

Thank you for the information.

Some people are discussing a topic in "Confusion on 485 JIT for CSC" about the current I-485 processing time. They're saying that in the early half of the year, a lot of I-485 have been approved within 5-6 months, like you said. But this seems to slow down recently. CSC's processing time for I-485 has changed to Jan 98.

Do you have any idea how to interpret the time posted on the CSC's processing time? Is it a sign of long period waiting time start again?

Thanks in advance.
