My wife and I are both returning together to India, after spending five and a half months with our daughter in USA on visitors' visas. I have the following questions:
1. Are each of us entitled to carry back purchases worth Rs.25,000/- duty-free to India?
2. I have purchased multiple items on the same invoice/invoices. Can I split the items between me and my wife for duty purposes?
3.If the value of the items each of us is carrying within the duty-free limit, can we walk through the green channel in India, or are we still obliged to declare the items?
