My company is likely to send me on an assignment to India. We are GC holders and are eligible to apply for citizenship some time next year. Company is willing to take care of the necessary paper work for maintaining continous residence.
Would applying for N-470 suffice the continous residence requirements? What are our chances for getting the citizenship if we are on assignment abroad?
Do we have to come here and apply for citizenship?
What happens after we file for citizenship? Can we continue to be on the assignment and come for Fingerprinting/Interview/Oath?
