I am married. At the time of joining the company I gave an exemption of 2.
Right now I am going to file - Marrried Filing Jointly. My husband had no income in US
1) Can I expect a refund?

I don't think so.
You had already 2 exemptions, 1 for you, and 1 for your husband.

What particular details do you require?
Your's and your husband's visa status. Do you have any other dependents? Have you signed the tax treaty and whether you got the benefit for two consecutive tax years? Since your husband was not employed for the tax year 2005, did he get any federal assistance?

As my salary is not taxable, i don't file returns. Could you please help me whether this will pose problem in my visa stamping. Please help me.
