L1 Restamping from a different consulate than original

Hi:

I'm on L1-B visa here and it was issued from Mumbai consulate. My visa is expired now.

I'm going on vacation to India and wish to know if my re-stamping/interview can be done through the Delhi consulate since I live close to Delhi. But my previous visa was from Mumbai consulate.

Please note that my L1 B petition is still valid.

Is it ok to get restamping of blanket L1 visa from Delhi when the original visa and a previous extension had been from chennai.
