Hi
I am on H1B getting married to US citizen.
My fiancé and I have sent all the documents including I-134 each and invitation letter.

My mom has been denied visa twice before 1) For my graduation 2) just for tourism

My sister is in the US too as a PhD student.

My father will not be joining my mom for the wedding.

Is daughter's wedding a good reason or should she also say tourism?

Thanks a ton!

Your is a similar case like my mothers... I applied for my parents for them to be here for my wedding ( I had a GC at that time).

Since Applying -- My father passed away & I also became a citizen

My mothers application was rejected and never attended my wedding, it was hard but that is the reality.... I was furious but didn't have the time to go to the consulate to fight (during my wedding).

I applied for a GC and she is here as a PR. Sometimes you cannot do much.

Thanks
WE are now planning on two weddings one in India and the other here in US.
Hopefully when I can apply for her GC she will be approved .
