Indian Passport after Citizenship

Please advise what happens to the Indian Passport I hold after I recieve my citizenship. If I should want to maintain Dual Citizenship can I continue to use my Indian passport or do I have to surrender it and then Apply for overseas Citizenship.

You need to apply for Overseas Citizenship for India if you become an US Citizen.
Caution! US government may not be able to help you if you're arrested in India and hold overseas (dual) citizenship!
