I have a problem..My wife lives in Cali Colombia and I filed my tax return as joint married..she cannot come to the US so I am wondering if its possible to cash the check over in one of the banks in Colombia

In order for me to cash the joint tax return check I need my wife present with 2forms of ID at the bank and she cannot come here to the US

If you have a joint bank account in the US, you can deposit the check in such an account.
AFAIK you cannot cash tax refund checks outside the US, but I may be wrong.
