My parents(father 63 retired, mom 58 housewife) got rejected in I/W twice in last ~2 years, both times i sponsored and reason for denial was US economy not good this time please try again later .

Last two time they took below documents -
-They had my I797
-Copies of passport (My L1 Expired,H1 Expired,I have valid I797 validity > 1.5 yr)
-My elder brother, sister and grand sons are in India
-Sent I 134 proof of support affedevit + Bank documents > $40,000
-They took Indian Property+ Bank account papers etc but he did not see it.

They are going to appear in i/w again soon, Please help us preparing:

-This time they are self sponsoring- No I134 , how much money in their saving account would be good ?
-They will take property, home, farm, pension,FD,MF's etc - papers
-what kind of proof is valid for showing that they have other son, daughter and grand kids in India?
-Do still they need to carry my passport copy,i797,bank statement,Salary slip,w2 etc because they will visit us also in their trip to US ? even when they are self sponsoring
-My wife is pregnant and does a letter from Doctor will help ?
-income tax returns of my father

Please suggest..... also let me know if i am missing anything.

they can take the birth certificate/passport copies of ur sibling with their name in parents section to show proof they have other kids and some photographs of kids, grand kids if incase they ask to show the proof.
There is no harm in sending those docs you mentioned even though they are self sponsoring some of it will show as proof that you are in US and maintain status.
Pregnancy will not help for sure and it may affect the other way.
