Typo in Name

Hi,

I have web appointment in august for my my parents taken in april, now I found that there is a spelling mistake in my mom's name. Can this is corrected with the same appoinment date or do I have to mandatorily take a new appointment.

Please suggest.

No need to take a new appointment, Just contact ttsvisas, send them an email and you will be okie, I had mistypes the passport number and when my parents went for the interview, the ttsvisas people said as long as its okie in DS-156, its fine, but I kept a copy of the email that ttsvisas replied for reference so that people at cousalate does not create problems. This was Delhi Counslate
