H4 Visa Spouse Name on Passport

Hi,
I will be applying for my H4 Visa. My wife is currently on H1 Visa. Her name on the passport is her maiden name as she made her passport before marriage.

I came to know that it is recommended to have your spouse's name endorsed in the passport. In my case, should I endorse her name(maiden name) in my passport?

You can if you want to. It is not required for getting the H4 stamped. Marriage certificate is what is important for H4 stamping.
