B2 Visa - Bank account

I have a B1/2 visa issued in 2007. I came to US in May 2011 on H1B and went back in Nov 2011 due to personal reasons. I had got a SSN and opened a Bank account then. I am now back in the US on my old B2. Is my SSN still in effect and can I continue to transact on my bank account as before.

Your SSN still remains valid and you can have the bank account.

However, you can't work while on B2.
