Hello: I have read several threads with questions on the N400 form. However, it is not clear to me if these applications have been file directly or through an immigration attorney.

The N400 form seems to be very straight forward and i do not see any value-add of having an attorney for a straight forward case. Does anyone have reccomendations??

Thanks,

Not necessary really. I have known people who have done this on their own. This process not being as convluted as permanent residency process lends itself to DIY folks.

You can do it yourself.
