Processing time for ENTRY VISA to INDIA

Hi ,

is there way to get ENTRY VISA to India in one day at any Indian consulate in US for an Indian origin.

if not what is the minimum time required for this processing .

we are expecting new member in our family shortly and want to turn back to india asap.

PIO processing seems to be time consuming, hence i think of opting Entry Visa for now and apply for the PIO card after reaching there .

please advise how faster i can go back , thank you.

Once I got my renunciation certificate, I got an entry visa in New York in 1 day. For a newborn, this should be fairly simple.

thanks on that , i have planned to apply the renunciation and Entry visa together.

Will take care of PIO card in india .

how long would it take if i apply both together .
