  • Denied Entry into the US when leaving Canada so I could return a Permanent Resident

    Hello,

I will be travelling through the US while flying to Costa Rica for my honeymoon in 2 weeks. And question F asks "Have you ever been denied a U.S. visa or entry into the U.S. or had a U.S. visa canceled?". I'm an Irish Citezen and I am a Permanent Resident of Canada. However, When I attemped to leave Canada to enter the US, so I could land as a Permanent Resident of Canada, I was refused entry and returned to Canada and landed as a PR.

So in this situation, should I select "yes" for question F? If so, what are the chances of my application being denied?

    Thanks very much!
    Patrick.
