Travelling India on OPT - F-1 Visa valid till June 22-2014

Hello Everyone,

I am travelling to India next week for a month.
My F-1 visa will expire on June 22-2014, Still enrolled in school and working on Thesis.
I have a valid OPT card and valid I-20 and have a employment letter.
My question is, Is it safe to travel to India and what questions might be asked after re-entering into US.
Any guidance will be appreciated.
