Hi,
My current f1 visa is valid until May 2014 and I want to apply for a visa renewal. However, the thing that scars me is that the officer might stamp "cancelled without prejudice" on my old visa at the time on interview and I lose my current visa and it takes a while for my new visa to be issued. Do they usually put that stamp when the new visa is issued or at the time of interview? In other words, is it possible for me to get stuck outside the US?
