    Hello

Good news! Today, I received an email saying my fiance visa (I129F) has been approved and a notice has been mailed to me. They told me to follow the direction on the notice but I just cannot wait!

What do I do now? I believe this is NOA2 stage clear. From long ago, reading forum, I had to mail the notice to my Fiance in overseas, and she has to go through some medical checks, police background checks, and interview. If it's approved today (March 20), what's the likelihood she comes to USA by end of April?

If you guys can help me prepare for next stages, I'll be very appreciated. Thank you so much!

    So excited!

    R/

Your petition will be sent to the NVC, then to the US Embassy that you specified. They will send her further instructions (relating to the medical exam, etc).

Get the latest i134 form and fill it out with evidence. She will need it. That form is what took me the longest.

    Good luck

      Hello!

What's the timeline I should expect until she goes for interview and gets Visa approved?

I was hoping someone more qualified could maybe help with that part, but I see nobody else has, so let me give it a shot......

Sorry, you should plan on a later wedding. Good things happen when you wait. My fiance and I are three months ahead of you, and April would be pushing it for us. These things do not happen fast.

Our petition was approved (NOA2) on Dec 23rd. Our appointment with the embassy is tomorrow (March 26). My fiance was out on a holiday when the notice came so we did not get started on the checklist for two weeks after receiving it. That means the total wait was just about two and a half months (excluding delays resulting from her being on a holiday).

We are planning to arrive in San Francisco during the week of May 5, assuming I book tickets this weekend (mar 29).

You received your NOA2 on March 20. That means it was approved on or about March 17. Maybe your interview will during, or near, the week of May 26 (assuming the two of you quickly get though the checklist).

If you are lucky then her embassy is faster at handling this sort of thing. If you are unlucky it will take an extra week or two.

You have plenty of time for a nice sunny June wedding. In most of the USA the weather is better in June than in April! No worries!

As for the police clearances, and the medical exam, she must have them before the interview. She must pay the fee according to the instructions before she goes online and fills out the i260 form. If she is asked for her alien registration number you will find it unlabeled on the NOA2 form.
