Changing Interships on a J1 visa

I am currently in the U.S on a J1 visa but the internship I am completing isn't exactly what I want / where I want.

Is it possible to move from my current internship to another internship that I have been offered without it affecting my visa? If not, can I reapply for a new J1 while staying in the U.S?
