Regarding employment duration on L1 Visa

Hi

My employer is suggesting me to apply for L1B visa for duration of 4month.
As L1 visa generally prefer for long term assignment.

Could somebody suggest me if i will apply for only 4month L1 visa then during the interview visa officer will entertain this or not ?
And, in my i-129s form my weekly wages mentioned is my india salary. is this correct ?

There is no hard and fast rule that L1 should be for long term assignments. L1 in nature are for intra company transfers, and temporary in nature. So if your company wants you to work for their subsidiary/branch in US for 4 Months, L1 is probably the right option. As for salary, I think its should be USD weekly wages

Thank you very much Raghvi for your suggestions.
I have checked with my lawyer who created my Visa document, they are saying in salary section on I129S it will be my foreign(Indian) salary only and they have provided me my company support letter there they have mentioned all the allowances details.

Will it work in front of Visa officer as i know Officers check only I-129S and DS160 form details ?

Please let me know your opinion on this.
