Hello Everyone
I'm a foreign worker in Canada and have a B1/B2 visa. I got my B1/B2 visa in 2014 but didn't have the time to travel on the visa on the now... just cos of school and work. I was recently arrested for dui in Canada and currently have a lawyer. I am praying and hoping that this will not affect me or result into a conviction.
I would just like to know if I can visit the US with my tourist visa if convicted here in Canada. I looked on-line and all I see is that a single DUI is not grounds for inadmissibility.
Would the US customs know of my conviction upon scanning my passport/fingerprint for primary inspection at the point of entry (which is here in Canada)or do they only know if they do a secondary inspection? Would I be allowed to enter the US if convicted here in Canada?
