  • L1B Blanket VISA Chennai Approved

    Hi All,

First of all I would like to thank this forum which was a great support for me to crack this interview. My interview was on 28th Jan. 2016.
Before asking question he first wished me in advance for my coming birthday which was on 31st Jan. I smiled and said thank you sir.

Below are the questions asked by the VISA officer.

    1. How long you have been working with this Company?
    2. To which client are you working?
    3. Are you going to work at the client side?
    4. Which project are you working for this client? What is all about this project?
    5. Whats your Specialist Skills?
    6. What will be your US salary?
    7. How long will you stay in US ?

While asking the question he was also confirming the URLS by typing in the computer which I have mentioned while explaining the project work and specialized knowledge.
After all the above questions he paused for few seconds and start stamping the petition form and ask me to keep one with me and give another copy to our company's HR.
Then only I realized the VISA has been approved. I said thank you so much he smiled and said you are welcome.

Good luck everyone and have faith in God.

      Hi,

The new additional fee of $4500 is not applicable for our company that's why I didn't pay. This was also clearly mentioned in the petition form Part 1A. Data Collection section.
USCIS said the additional fees apply to petitioners who employ 50 or more employees in the US, with more than 50 per cent of those employees in H-1B or L (including L-1A and L-1B) nonimmigrant status.

      Part 1A. Data Collection
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does the petitioner employ 50 or more individuals in the United States? Yes
If yes, are more than 50% of those employees in H-1B, L-1A, or L-1B nonimmigrant status? No
