  • Form I-864A was asked after Interview.

I am US citizen. My parents had immigrant visa interview yesterday at US embassy. they answered all question and Interviewer officer told them all documents are good. but Interviewer officer gave them a paper which states that I (petitioner) need to send "Form I-864A between Petitioner (Me) and Spouse".
I was not asked by USCIS or NVC to submit form I-864A or form I-864A was not mentioned in interview later to bring with my parent on interview date. why he asked for Form I-864A?
My wife does not work now, her last job was in 2011. I and my wife always file Taxes together "Married Filing Jointly" since last 4 years, it is asked in Part 3 about her employment and Part 4 about recent years Tax in form I-864A. as mentioned above she does not work so Part 3 answer can be unemployed. how can we answer Part 4? since we are filling taxes "Married Filing Jointly", so her taxes will be same as mine? we are confuse here. can she also mention her cash amount in 3.a. and gold and diamond jewelry value in 3.c. in "My assets" section?

I alone submitted the form I-864 Affidavit of support.

    Thanks.
