Regarding H1B Fraud fee

Hi all,

I came to US in May 2006.My visa expires on 30 Sep 2008.
I am filing for extension wit hthe same employer.
My question is Whether I have to pay Fraud Fee ($500) once again though I already paid when applied for the H1B first time.

My employer is telling from next extension onwards i need not to pay.Is this is true?

Why are you paying for the extension in the first place? Aa far as the fraud prevention fee goes, the employer is right.
