Filing F2 during my spouse just appllied for OPT
Hi,
I am in India and my spouse is in F1 status.During his third semester (in Feb)we applied for dependent's sevis id for F2 visa interview but due to personal reasons we didn't take the interview appointment eventhough we had the hdfc receipt and completed the DS165 online application.
Now he is applying for OPT in his final semester. He will get the new I-20 with OPT recommendation from university.It may take nearly 3 months to get the OPT EAD Card from USCIS .But now I am planning to take the F2 visa interview.So my questions are :
1)Do we again need the I-20 for dependent after my spouse get the OPT I-20 from university?
2)I have to again fill up the DS165 online application if our sevis ids got changed.Then what happens to the previous DS165 application ?
3) Does the document requirements changes in my situation when compared to previous one ?
