PIO card status check

Hi all,

We applied for PIO card for our toddler daughter at the Newyork consulate on 12th of July by mail. I wanted to check the status of the application and none of the phone numbers given in the consulate website is being answered. I also tried sending email to the address mentioned, but no reply again.

Its been 2 weeks already and we are scheduled to travel next week. Is there a way to expedite the procedure? If not can we go to the consulate and get our passport and apply for a visa?

go directly with ur pio application copy

pio we can apply at the counter itself(4 days u can get it). anyway go with ur application copy and enquire with them directly.they can help u. i applied on 29th june and got it on 6th july. better u go directly there. good luck.
