My friend is working with company X on H1 visa but now he has got a very good offer from company Y. So, he was planning to get his visa transferred and join there. But just a few days back, he came across a guy who was earlier working for his company(X) but then left X and joined Y 3 months back but he told that the immigration department had some query for which the company Y didnt answer so he was to be sent back to INDIA but due to his good terms in company X he has been able to join back. Please guide me as to what problem could have happend and whether my friend should not accept this good offer.Is it that the US immigration laws have been made very stringent to tackle the issue of outsourcing.
