Mistake in my DS-160 form and visa appointment made..plzz helpp..

Hi..my question is regarding the DS-160 form for my F-1 Visa...I filled in my DS-160 form a week ago and i scheduled an appointment at the Hyderabad Consulate..i later realised that i made a mistake in the
"Have you visited any countries in the last 5 years" field...
i forgot to mention a country..
i later found out through a friend that i can fill out another DS-160 form and take both the forms(the newly filled form and the old form) to the consulate on the scheduled appointment date and arrive an hour earlier and inform the problem at the VFS helpdesk..i was told that the mistake could be rectified...so i just wanted to confirm it...plzz reply.Thank You.

Call VFS. They will probably ask you to fill another DS-160 form.

Is it not possible to cancel the existing appointment, fill a new DS 160 form and take a fresh appointment with the new CEAC Bar code?

It is easier to keep the same appointment and attend with a new DS form.
