F1 (OPT) to H4 visa..URGENT!!!

My H4 visa is valid till Sep 2012.I changed my status to F1 in Aug 2010.Graduated in May 2011.My OPT EAD is valid from june 2011-May 2012.Now its more than 60 days of unemployment since my OPT EAD was approved.Only 90 days of unemployment on OPT is allowed.If I am unable to find employment in next 30 days,my F1 visa will be out of status.I have some questions :

1)If F1 OPT expires on 10th Sep,When should I apply for change of status from F-1 OPT to H4?
2)If I apply late, and my legal F-1 OPT stay expires by the time approval is received, do I need to leave the country or can I stay until I get approval?
3)My husband's I-140 is approved and expecting PD to be current in next few months.So at that time, can he add my name on I-485 when i am on change of status(F1 to H4).

Please someone kindly answer these questions?

Most people meet employment requirement by doing some unpaid internships, sometimes even with their school faculty. Try to see if you can do that and keep searching for a paid job in the meanwhile.
