  • Your experiences with Student Visa Sponsor Tax Records Needed. Appt. is Tuesda

Hi, my sponsor my student visa made 100,000 last year , joint return, she has given me one year of past tax returns.

I go for my interview on Tuesday to the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok. I need to know if this will be okay. I alreay have my school 's form I 20 ready and all other documents but just worried about this suppporting document.

    Thanks,

    Jon

Any thoguhts in general or pointers on Thailadn u.s. embassy for people trying to get student visa to u.s.

You will need bank statements showing funds readily available as per your I-20. Read the I-20, there is a section where it shows funds needed and another sections showing funds available. Prepare bank statements showing at least the funds available. Tax returns are okay, but most probably will not be asked. Even bank statements may not be asked. Be prepared with convincing and true answers to questions like 'why did you choose this school/program, what do you intend to do after you complete your program' etc.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
