Hi,
If a person is a diplomatic visa holder (A visa) bears a child while in the US, will that child automatically be a US citizen? Is there any documentation that would confirm the info on this?
Thanks!

Did you get birth certificate for him when he was born in the US? The immigration act doesn't differentiate between child of diplomat or not...it says citizenship by birth. I guess it is better to ask an immigration attorney about this point or you may ask the USCIS customer service center at 1-800 number.
Sorry Osweiti50, but you are wrong. This is in fact one of the exceptions. Children of diplomats born in the US are not considered US citizens.
It says: An exception to this rule exists regarding children born in the United States to foreign diplomats.

To NWCTZN:
Thanks for the excellent clarification...you are always there...knowledgeable and eager to help others. Thanks Again.
Thank you for the official source document. If the wife holds an A visa, but the father holds H visa, can the child still get citizenship?
